Meet Barbara Emmanuel
Founder of Clarity in Leadership

Barbara Emmanuel’s journey with leadership and organizational performance began over 25 years ago as VP HR for Sunswept Resorts, a resort management company based out of St. Lucia West Indies.

It is a known fact that people join companies but leave managers. The reason why Barbara has worked diligently to ensure that management within organizations recognize that employee engagement is KEY to team success and individual contribution.

During Barbara’s corporate work she has consulted and mentored numerous leaders. She was instrumental in reducing employee turnover from 42% down to only 8%. This phenomenal turn around was due greatly to her ongoing leadership education and coaching the young and seasoned managers.

Barbara has also performed the important role of HR Advisor to the Board of Directors of a luxury vacation firm that encompassed, Corporate Governance, Family Council and conflict resolution.  She has also consulted with diverse industries from oil, gas and energy companies to rum distillers and luxury hotel resort chains; in Canada, South America and the Caribbean.

Barbara is a certified coach and executive consultant, a certified ECCP Professional. A licensed practitioner in numerous leadership programs, assessment tools and personality profiling.

She holds a post graduate diploma in Human Resort Management from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and is a licensed practitioner of two award winning leadership programs – Liberating Leadership™ and the Leadership System™ and the Leadership Circle Profile™.  And she is also an accredited Trainer for Adair International in Action Centered Team Leadership.
